Elma Hacopian, a Board-Certified Family Nurse Practitioner, holds her credentials from the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners. She earned her Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing from the University of Phoenix and subsequently transformed her Master’s Degree, also from the University of Phoenix, into a dedicated career as a Nurse Practitioner beginning in January 2020.

Elma is a firm believer in treating each patient as an individual, a philosophy she considers crucial in assisting her patients to maintain optimal health. She advocates for a patient-provider relationship built on mutual respect and collaboration, emphasizing that such a dynamic empowers patients to actively participate in their healthcare decisions. Bilingual, Elma is proficient in both English and Armenian.

Prior to joining the AFH family, Elma Hacopian amassed a wealth of experience in the medical field, practicing in Urgent Care, Pediatrics, and Family Practice settings. She brings over 15 years of hospital experience to her current role, underscoring her comprehensive expertise in patient care.
